Kaanha AI runs on a subscription-tier model. Pick a plan that matches your team size and feature needs; pay monthly or annually; upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the in-app billing dashboard at any time. If your organization was provisioned before the subscription model launched, you may still be on the older pay-as-you-go credit-only model — see Migrating from the Old Credit-Pack Model below. Credit packs themselves are not legacy or superseded — they’re the live mechanism every subscription plan uses to top up AI usage when the monthly allotment runs out (see Buying Extra Credits below).

Plans Overview

All prices are in USD, billed via Stripe.
Annual = 10× monthly = ~17% saving (two months free). Both monthly and annual auto-renew.

What Each Plan Includes

AI Credits Explained

AI credits power AI chatbots, knowledge-base RAG queries, and any other LLM-driven feature.
  • 1 AI credit = 1,000 tokens (input + output combined).
  • Credits are allotted monthly based on your plan: Pro = 10,000, Premium = 50,000, Enterprise = custom.
  • Credits reset on the billing cycle anniversary — they do not roll over.
  • Every subscription plan (Free through Enterprise) runs on platform-managed AI keys — OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini) or Anthropic (Claude Haiku), whichever you pick per agent. There’s no bring-your-own-key option on a subscription plan; the platform’s own keys power every AI feature you use.
  • When your credit balance reaches zero, AI features are soft-blocked until the next reset, an upgrade, or you buy a credit pack (see below).

Buying Extra Credits

Run out mid-cycle? Buy a credit pack at any time from /billing → Buy Credits — it applies on top of your monthly allotment immediately, no need to wait for the next cycle: Track your credit balance and burn rate at:

Plans WITHOUT AI

Free and Starter ship with AI agents disabled. These plans cover the messaging, CRM, and broadcast surfaces only. If you need AI chatbots, RAG over your knowledge base, or any LLM-backed automation, upgrade to Pro ($49/mo) or higher. The upgrade is prorated and AI unlocks immediately.

Annual vs Monthly

Switch between monthly and annual at any time from /billing → Change Plan. Switching to annual triggers a prorated charge for the remainder of the year.

14-Day Pro Trial

New signups can start a 14-day free trial of Pro — no credit card required.
  • Unlocks every Pro feature (AI chatbots, RAG, integrations, MCP) for 14 days.
  • On day 14, the trial auto-converts to paid Pro unless you change or cancel the plan.
  • Cancel anytime during the trial with one click; no charge is made.
  • Trial is offered once per organization.
Start a trial at /signup or upgrade an existing Free workspace at /billing.

WhatsApp Message Costs

WhatsApp messages are not charged by Kaanha AI. Meta bills your conversations directly to your own WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) at Meta’s published rates. Kaanha AI charges zero markup on WhatsApp traffic.
Per-message costs depend on the recipient’s country and the conversation category (Marketing, Utility, Authentication, Service). See Meta’s WhatsApp Business Pricing for current rates.

SMS Costs

SMS is billed by Twilio, not Kaanha AI. You connect your own Twilio account; Twilio charges you per message at their published rates. Kaanha AI provides the channel orchestration (routing, templates, automation) at no additional per-message cost.

Voice Costs

Voice agents are an admin-grant feature, available on Premium and Enterprise once granted (see Voice Agents).
  • Telephony: your assigned number’s carrier (Vobiz for Indian numbers, Twilio otherwise, or your own carrier via SIP) — billed as part of your plan’s included minutes, with overage drawn from your AI credit balance.
  • STT / LLM / TTS: Sarvam, OpenAI/Anthropic, and your choice of TTS provider — all platform-managed, same as text AI.
  • Voice usage meters against the same monthly credit pool as text AI and SMS; if you run out, top up with a credit pack.

Subscribing

  1. Visit /signup (new orgs) or /billing → Choose Plan (existing orgs).
  2. Pick a tier; choose Monthly or Annual.
  3. Complete checkout via Stripe (card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay).
  4. Your plan activates instantly; the billing dashboard refreshes with the new entitlements.

Managing Billing

The billing dashboard at /billing shows:
  • Current plan + status (active, trialing, past_due, canceled).
  • Next billing date.
  • AI credit balance and burn rate (Pro / Premium).
  • Invoice history with PDF downloads.
  • Payment method with “update card” via Stripe.
  • Cancel or Change Plan controls.

Upgrading & Downgrading

After a downgrade takes effect, features above the new tier are gated in the UI. Existing data (AI chatbots, sequences, integrations) is preserved — you can re-enable it by upgrading again.

Cancelling

  • Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current month; service continues until then.
  • Annual plans cancel at the end of the current annual term.
  • Annual refunds: a 14-day money-back guarantee applies from the initial charge date. After 14 days, annual fees are non-refundable but service continues to the anniversary.
  • See the full Refund Policy for edge cases and dispute handling.
Cancel any time at /billing → Cancel Plan.

Refund Policy

Read the canonical Refund Policy for:
  • 14-day annual money-back window.
  • Failed-trial refund handling.
  • Pro-rata refunds on plan-mistake corrections.
  • Chargeback procedure.

Service Level Agreement

Uptime targets, incident-response SLAs, and credit-back rules live in the Terms of Service — §SLA and on the public status page.

Enterprise

For organizations with custom requirements, contact sales@kaanha.ai for:
  • Custom AI credit allotments (or unlimited).
  • SSO / SAML federation.
  • SOC 2 audit support and security questionnaire response.
  • Data residency options.
  • Dedicated CSM (Customer Success Manager).
  • Custom integrations with your internal tools.
  • Dedicated infrastructure (single-tenant deployment).

Lifetime Deals

If you bought a Kaanha AI lifetime deal through a marketplace (e.g. AppSumo), you’re on one of three stacking tiers, redeemable once from /billing → Redeem lifetime code. Buying more than one code lets you stack up to a higher tier. Lifetime plans include BYOK (bring your own AI key, for tenants who prefer it) and a monthly AI credit sample, but — permanently, at every tier — do not include voice agents, WhatsApp Connect, white-label, custom domain, or multi-agent orchestration. These stay monthly-subscription-only. If you ever need one of those, upgrading to a monthly plan is the path — see support if you later want to move back to your lifetime plan.

Referral Program

Refer another business to Kaanha AI — when they make their first credit purchase, you get rewarded on your own account. The exact reward depends on your own billing model (a subscription-model org gets bonus time on their current plan; a legacy credit-model org gets bonus credits). Find your referral link and track referrals at /billing → Referrals.

Migrating from the Old Credit-Pack Model

If your organization was provisioned before April 26, 2026, you may still be on the legacy pay-as-you-go credit-pack model.
  • Existing credits remain in your account and are honored under the legacy redemption rate.
  • You will be prompted to migrate to a subscription tier on your next renewal cycle.
  • A conversion utility is available — Pro and Premium plans grant generous one-time signup credits on top of the monthly allotment.
  • Self-serve migration runs from /billing → Migrate to Subscription.
  • Need help? Email support@kaanha.ai and we will move your account manually.

Tax

Stripe automatically calculates and applies VAT / GST based on your billing address where applicable. All receipts include a tax breakdown and are tax-compliant for EU, UK, India, and other supported jurisdictions.

Invoices

  • Invoices are auto-generated at every successful charge.
  • Download from /billing → Transaction History as PDF.
  • Custom billing-entity name, address, VAT/GST number, and PO references can be set under /billing → Billing Profile.

Payment Methods

All card and digital-wallet payments are processed through Stripe Checkout by default. Razorpay (INR) and PayPal are also fully supported — if you’d rather use one of those, configure your own credentials under Settings → Payments and it becomes your org’s active provider for both subscriptions and one-off Payment Links.

Currency

All plans are charged in USD through Stripe. For customers outside the United States: Stripe will charge your card in USD; your card issuer converts to your local currency at their prevailing FX rate. Indian customers should expect their bank to charge a small FX markup on top of the USD amount.

Failed Payments

If a charge fails (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds):
  1. Day 0 — Charge declines; Stripe automatically retries over 72 hours.
  2. Day 1–3Grace period. Service continues; you receive email and in-app warnings.
  3. Day 3+ — If still unpaid, the workspace enters suspended state. Read access continues; write/send actions are blocked.
  4. Day 30 — If still unpaid, the workspace is queued for deletion. Data is retained for an additional 30 days for recovery.
Update your payment method any time at /billing → Payment Method to restore service immediately.
